Miss Monique

Miss Monique, born Alesia Arkusha in 1992 in Kirovograd (now Kropyvnytskyi), Ukraine, grew up in Kyiv from the age of eight. She began DJing as a teenager at venues such as Prime Club, spending two solid years honing her craft there. Today she is Lisbon-based and ranks among the most prominent progressive house and melodic techno DJs in the world. Her breakthrough was driven in large part by her YouTube channels "Mind Games" and "MiMo Weekly", accumulating over 200 million cumulative views. In 2019 she founded Siona Records, which by 2022 had become one of the top three best-selling progressive house labels on Beatport. Releases have appeared on Tomorrowland Music, Armada, Drumcode and Black Hole Recordings; her remix of Sied van Riel's "Rush" was the best-selling progressive house track on Beatport in 2022, and her single "Concorde" spent six weeks in the Beatport Melodic Techno Top 10. Remixes for David Guetta, Moby and Madonna, alongside support from Pete Tong, Tiësto and CamelPhat, cement her global reputation. Festival highlights include Tomorrowland 2022, EDC Mainstage 2022/23 and a Cercle performance with over 3 million views. She recorded an exclusive mix for BBC Radio 1 in February 2023. For 2026, she is confirmed as resident DJ in the Club Room at Hï Ibiza — her second consecutive season at the venue.
