Mula B, born Hicham Hendrik Mulasi Gieskes on 18 May 1991 in The Hague, is one of the most influential rappers in the Dutch hip-hop scene. Growing up in the Schilderswijk neighbourhood of The Hague, of Moroccan and Congolese descent, he laid the foundation of his career in 2016 with the mixtape "D&G" (Drugs & Geld), which instantly achieved cult status in the scene. His sound combines electronically driven hip-hop beats with innovative flows and multilingual street language. Multi-platinum hits such as "Bandolero", "Fully Fendi" and "Faktap Broeder", alongside collaborations with S10, Frenna, Boef and Bizzey, established him as one of the country's most successful artists. His albums include "Meesterplusser" and "PRIX D'AMI". In December 2023, "Narcopop" was released – a dark yet colourful portrait of street life that weaves trap, techno, jazz, rock and pop into a unique whole. Mula B is signed to Universal Music Group and consistently breaks Spotify records. His live shows are known as an intense journey through his lived experiences.
