The Orquestra de Cambra de Mallorca (OCM) was founded in 2017 in Inca and has since become one of the leading ensembles in the Balearic Islands' musical landscape. Under the artistic direction of Bernat Quetglas – conductor and composer who also serves as assistant conductor of the ADDA Simfònica – the orchestra brings together between 25 and 45 musicians: established professionals from Mallorca alongside recent graduates of higher music studies.
The repertoire spans from classical and romantic works to contemporary music, with a clear mission to decentralise the concert offer across the island. The OCM has performed in more than 20 municipalities in Mallorca and graces prestigious venues such as the Teatre Principal de Palma and Castell de Bellver, where it performed Mahler's Symphony No. 1. The ensemble has also toured to the Kursaal de Manresa and the Symphonic Music Festival of El Jem in Tunisia.
Guest soloists have included Olivier Charlier, Aris Argiris and Iván Martín, among others. The OCM also organised the BTHVN Festival 2020 and the Mozart Festival 2021 in Pollença. A Mahler Festival in Pollença is planned for 2026.
