Picheo 808

Picheo 808 is Argentina's biggest reggaeton party brand – an urban music event series founded in 2017 in the Zona Norte region (Del Viso/Pilar, Buenos Aires). The idea was born out of a concrete need: young fans of the emerging Latin Trap scene wanted to party locally without having to make the long drive to Buenos Aires. Behind Picheo 808 stands a tight-knit collective of resident DJs (including Ele, Kevo, Nurbano, Tatofresh, Noixa, Voltio, FDK, Tainezz and Facu Ballve) along with host "El Joven" as creative director. The brand's promise: original sets only, no remixes, no repeated songs – every night stays unique. The music policy covers reggaeton, old-school reggaeton, dembow, funk carioca and trap. As the brand grew, Picheo 808 expanded from Pilar to Buenos Aires and further Argentine cities such as La Plata, Mar del Plata and Chivilcoy. Artists like Cazzu, Emilia Mernes and Arcangel have performed at or collaborated with the brand. Picheo 808 now also tours Europe: appearances include Tantra Ibiza, BCM Planet Club in Mallorca, and Madrid.
