Raya Real

Sevilla, Spanienflamenco · rumba · sevillanas · folklore
Raya Real is a Flamenco ensemble from Seville, founded in 1989/1990 by Celso Pareja Obregón and now directed by Javier Soriano. Over three decades, the group has become one of the most representative acts of contemporary Andalusian folklore, with more than 26 albums and several gold and platinum certifications to its name. Today the lineup features eight singers and five accompanying musicians. Their sound blends traditional Flamenco and Sevillanas with Rumba rhythms and contemporary instrumentation, built around passionate vocals and vibrant guitar playing. Raya Real has collaborated with fellow Andalusian artists such as Cantores de Hispalis, Los del Río and Amigos de Gines, and is known for songs like "Viva Mi Andalucía" and "Quien Te Bautizó, Sevillana." With their Christmas show "Con Alegría," the group brings festive carols fused with Flamenco to twelve Spanish cities, including a stop at Trui Teatre in Mallorca. The roughly 90-minute performance is designed as a family celebration full of rhythm, emotion and holiday spirit.
