Rikhter
Yakutsk, Russiatechno · industrial-techno · hard-techno
Rikhter is a Russian techno producer and live act, born in Yakutsk and raised across Russia – shaped by years of travelling as an ice hockey player from the age of six. Via Moscow he eventually moved to Berlin, where he is now based and holds a residency at the legendary Monasterio Factory. His sound merges thunderous kick drums, rolling percussion and hardcore elements at high tempos into a brand of industrial and hard techno of exceptional intensity. Rikhter performs exclusively as a live act – never a conventional DJ set. In 2019 he signed to the R Label Group, the Berlin boutique label founded by Kobosil, quickly becoming one of its flagship artists alongside acts such as In Verruf, Parallx and Somewhen. Several EPs followed, along with the album *DOMA* (2021); other notable releases include *RIK1* and *Sektion 1*. Known for his secrecy, Rikhter communicates almost entirely through his music. He has performed internationally at events including DOOM Festival 2025 in Bogotá and RESPIRA Festival in Santiago de Chile. Upcoming dates for 2026 include Echelon Festival in August and an extended live set in July.
