Rodriguez Jr. is the alias of French producer and live performer Olivier Mateu – one of the defining figures in melodic house and techno over the past 25 years. He made his first breakthrough under the mentorship of legend Laurent Garnier, releasing music on Garnier's renowned F-Communications label as one half of French electro duo The Youngsters. Since then, he has become one of the most sought-after names in the scene, with releases on Mobilee, Anjunadeep, Systematic and Armada, as well as remixes for Stephan Bodzin, Booka Shade, Eli & Fur, Röyksopp, NTO and Timo Maas. A special chapter is his musical partnership with Nouvelle Vague vocalist Liset Alea – together they run the live project RJLA, blending organic vocals with deep electronic soundscapes. Their Cercle performance at the Falaises d'Étretat remains an iconic moment.
