Seth Troxler

Seth Troxler was born in 1985 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and grew up in the suburbs of Detroit – a city whose techno and house heritage has shaped him ever since. He discovered DJing through his stepfather, a college radio DJ, and honed his craft working at the legendary Detroit record store "Melodies & Memories" at just 16. His first release appeared while still a teenager on Omar S's label FXHE under the alias Young Seth. At 18 he debuted at Berlin's Panorama Bar, subsequently relocated to Berlin and later London, before settling between Ibiza and Zürich. Troxler has released on Wolf + Lamb, Crosstown Rebels and Circus Company, collaborating with Art Department, Deetron, Tiefschwarz, Matthew Dear and Subb-an. He is a co-founder of the influential collective and label Visionquest (with Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves and Lee Curtiss) and founder of Tuskegee (with The Martinez Brothers), Soft Touch, Play It Say It and more recently Slacker 85. In 2023 he received a Grammy nomination for his collaboration with Diplo. Resident Advisor voted him the world's number one DJ, and he has graced the cover of Mixmag three times. Troxler is renowned for his deep understanding of underground rave culture and performs regularly at the world's leading clubs and festivals.
