DJ Soda, born Hwang So-hee on April 7, 1988, in Seoul, South Korea, started her career as an actress before making a decisive move into DJing in 2013. She quickly built her reputation at top Gangnam clubs such as Octagon and Felice, then rose to international prominence through viral social media content. In 2015 she toured with the Korea World DJ Festival and shared the stage with Will Sparks and Sidney Samson at Life in Color in Seoul. Her debut EP *Closer* was released in June 2016 via Warner Music Group, featuring a collaboration with K-pop group Sistar. Her signature "Flute Dance" stage move generated millions of views on YouTube and Facebook. She has held endorsement deals with Pioneer DJ and appeared on the cover of Maxim magazine. In 2021 she released the single "Okay!" alongside Lost Chameleon and Ahin of Momoland. A regular headliner at the S2O Songkran Music Festival in Bangkok and with more than 50 North American tour dates under her belt, DJ Soda is firmly established on the global EDM circuit.
