Tim Toupet

Cologne, Germanyschlager · pop
Tim Toupet, born Tim Bibelhausen on October 28, 1971, in Cologne, is a German Schlager and party-pop singer widely known as "The Singing Barber." A qualified master hairdresser since 1995, he has run his own salons in Cologne, Leverkusen, and Pulheim alongside his music career. He founded an events agency in 1999 and released his debut single "Yippie Jaja Yippie Noch En Kölsch" in 2004. His breakthrough came in 2005 with the playfully self-referential "Du hast die Haare schön." He followed up with further chart hits: "Ich bin ein Döner" reached number 8 in Germany in 2008, and "So ein schöner Tag (Fliegerlied)" peaked at number 6 in 2009. Other well-known tracks include "Allee," "Ein Diamant," and "Wir sind alle gestört aber geil." Collaborations include "Pietro Lombaaadi" with Lorenz Buffel (2018) and "Bobfahrerlied" with Troglauer. His connection to Mallorca's party scene is well documented — in 2013 he performed at the Plaza de Toros in Palma for the TV show "Wetten, dass..?" and has appeared at the iconic Bierkönig.
