Xevi Gata is a Catalan musician, singer, and instrumentalist specialising in the human voice. He began his musical journey at the age of eight at the conservatory in Terrassa and went on to train at the prestigious Taller de Músics in Barcelona, graduating from the ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya). With over twenty years of teaching experience, he has headed vocal departments at various schools and conservatories, authoring two books on vocal technique and applied voice theory that are widely used as educational tools. He developed his own teaching method combining musical craft with NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and ThetaHealing. Among his more than 500 students are acclaimed artists such as Salvador Sobral, Alfred García, Judit Neddermann, and Rosalía. Through overtone singing, guttural chanting, and guided vocal improvisation, he also accompanies people in profound transformative experiences.
