Gathering of the Porreres batucada

Rhythm takes centre stage in Porreres on 31 October 2026, when the local batucada gathers at Plaça de la Vila. The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 pm. Batucada is a Brazilian-rooted style of percussion music built around the interplay of drums. Rather than vocals or melodic instruments, its focus is on rhythm and a shared pulse. If you’re curious about this kind of music, the gathering offers a reason to spend part of your early evening in Porreres. Head to Plaça de la Vila for this musical date in the town centre.
