Getting to know Mallorcan folk tales

Mallorcan folk tales offer you a way into the island’s culture beyond its landscapes and everyday life. Known in Catalan as “rondalles”, these traditional stories belong to Mallorca’s oral heritage, bringing together imagination, inherited themes and the language of the island. On 13 October, you can explore this storytelling tradition at the Punt de lectura de la Colònia de Sant Pere, in the municipality of Artà. The cultural event “Getting to Know Mallorcan Folk Tales” starts at 5:30 pm.
