Giants Gathering by the Colla Gegantera d'Alcúdia

On 26 September, the Colla Gegantera d’Alcúdia gathers for its Meeting of Giants at Plaça Carles V in Alcúdia’s historic old town. The event begins at 5:15 pm. At its heart are the traditional giant figures that form part of Mallorca’s living festive heritage, bringing movement, music and a shared sense of occasion to streets and squares. Following the opening at Plaça Carles V, a celebratory procession makes its way through the town. The event therefore combines a central meeting point in the old town with a route through Alcúdia itself.
