Glosada with the Glosadors de Mallorca

Felanitx closes its festivities with a glosada featuring the Glosadors de Mallorca. A glosada is one of Mallorca’s most distinctive oral traditions: improvised verses are sung and exchanged, with wit, rhythm and the performers’ quick response shaping the occasion. On 13 September, the event offers an authentic encounter with this living part of Mallorcan culture, where language itself takes centre stage. According to the event announcement, the closing celebrations continue with a glass of cava and a fireworks display.
