Petanque Get-Together

On 28 August, Puigpunyent will host its first Patxanga de Petanca. The focus is on the social side of this precision sport: throwing the boules, judging distances and enjoying each game together. The matches are planned for the sand court beside the fig tree, a local setting well suited to the relaxed spirit of the occasion. A patxanga is an informal, easy-going way to play, without the formality of a major competition.
