Continuous Session

Synopsis/Summary: Continuous Session includes four pieces arranged according to the old formula of the continuous cinema screening. It alternates two of the winning pieces from Teatre de Barra and their sequels, which were expressly commissioned from the authors. In this way, the audience can see two of the classics of Teatre de Barra: the two most acclaimed pieces since the beginnings of this successful format and, afterwards, enjoy their continuations or sequels, which round off the proposal with an apotheotic ending to each of the stories. The show begins with Llengua amb tàperes and continues with L’home que va vendre el món, a prequel to Herois (the latter, the winner of the death edition of Teatre de Barra and the last to be performed). Before that, however, just after the first one, its sequel will be performed, with a metatheatrical and self-referential title: Teatre de Barra. All four are comedies, but absolutely different in tone and form. Social comedy, apocalyptic, dramatic, physical, absurd, parody... what more could you ask for!
