How much does a poster need to communicate a clear visual idea? “T4/2026 Screen-Printed Poster: Synthesis and Planes” takes this design question as its starting point at the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró a Mallorca in Cala Major, Palma. Led by Cecília Segura, the workshop is scheduled for the period from 24 to 31 October 2026.
Screen printing transfers colour onto a surface through a stencil held in a mesh screen. In poster design, the technique offers scope to work with bold areas of colour, contrasts and simplified shapes. The title invites you to consider a fundamental design challenge: how can visual elements be distilled without losing their expressive power?
