Painting on wood workshop

Wood instead of canvas: this workshop in Artà invites you to explore painting on a different kind of surface. Taking place at the Biblioteca Municipal Na Batlessa on 10 November, it centres on painting on wood and the creative relationship between colour and material. Unlike paper, wood can bring its own character to a picture through its grain and surface texture. That is part of the appeal of this technique: considering how the surface, shapes and colours work together. If you feel like approaching a creative subject in a practical way, this cultural event in Artà offers an appealing starting point. The workshop begins at 5:30 pm.
