Traditional Greased Pole Climb

On 24 August, Consell hosts a wonderfully straightforward yet time-honoured fiesta challenge: climbing a greased pole. This classic test of skill calls for balance, persistence and a good sense of humour, as the slippery surface turns every attempt into a memorable feat. If you would like to take part, registration is available directly in the square and opens 30 minutes before the activity begins. Watching the traditional Pujada al pal ensabonat is equally rewarding: it offers an authentic glimpse of local community festivities and a summer tradition centred on shared enjoyment.
