A morning to think about your music career

Jornades Pro brings double bassist and cultural manager Imma Grimalt and the Illa Músics team together in Palma for a morning of training aimed at professional musicians and those who are starting to make music their profession. The morning opens with the talk “What is my value proposition?”. Imma Grimalt, a lecturer in music management at ESMUC and former director of development at L'Auditori de Barcelona, explores how to identify and explain what makes each musical project unique. After refreshments, Illa Músics leads a practical session on taxation and invoicing: VAT (IVA) and personal income tax (IRPF), invoices for educational activities, registration under the artists' social security scheme and invoicing public authorities. The morning ends with private consultations, by prior appointment, to address individual cases.
