A turquoise Acapulco chair, a plate of tuna tartare melting on the tongue — and right in front of you, barely ten metres away, the shallow water of Alcúdia Bay shimmering in three shades of blue. That is how an afternoon at Sea Soul Beach Club begins. Not with beats and neon, but with the sound of waves and the gentle clink of ice in a detox smoothie.

Concept
Sea Soul is Iberostar's own beach club concept — designed as a pleasure-focused counterpoint to the loud party beach club. The Port d'Alcúdia outpost is attached to the neighbouring 4-star Iberostar Waves Ciudad Blanca hotel and has a clearly defined character: Mediterranean cuisine, natural drinks, a wellness sensibility, daytime operations from morning until late afternoon. If you are looking for a club night, this is not the place — and that is entirely intentional.

Atmosphere
The design channels a clear Ibizan vibe: Acapulco chairs in white and turquoise, a colour palette that mirrors the sea. A solarium area with freshwater showers invites you to linger, the sand is an arm's reach away. The setting — at the border of Playa de Muro, one of Spain's most lauded beaches — is the true showpiece. Guests are unanimous in praising the views and the direct beach position, even those who had minor criticisms of other aspects. The mood is relaxed, the crowd mixed: couples after a quiet sea-view lunch, families combining a beach day with decent food, hotel guests who reach the shore without a taxi ride.
Kitchen & Drinks
The kitchen works in Mediterranean tapas format with a wellness slant. Crispy calamares, garlic prawns, tender ham croquettes — the technique is solid. The more interesting dishes go further: octopus on sweet potato purée, tuna tartare. Both show that the kitchen has more range than standard beach fare.
On the drinks side, the SeaSoul concept leans into natural smoothies and detox juices — not as a diet menu, but as a philosophy: freshness over industrial cocktails. Tropical fruit mocktails are a fixture, wine is available by the glass, and classic cocktails are there for those who want one. A small sustainability note: a refillable aluminium bottle with unlimited refills is available for a nominal contribution — understated but consistent.
The price level is on the higher side for a beach club; guests report that the bill often comes in above expectations. Bear that in mind, understand the setting as part of the experience, and you will not be disappointed.
For whom & which occasions
Sea Soul works as a day trip for anyone who wants the beach combined with more than fast food — without the sensory overload of a mega beach club. Couples find an elegant setting for a sea-view lunch. Families benefit from the calm atmosphere and the adjacent hotel facilities (pool, hammocks, spa within walking distance for Iberostar guests). And if you are out on Alcúdia Bay by boat: the club has its own jetty, arrivals and departures directly at the dock are possible.
Insider tip
Guests staying at the Iberostar Waves Ciudad Blanca can pick up complimentary towels at the hotel reception for the beach area. Boat excursions on the bay can also be arranged through the hotel and depart from the club's own jetty — a detail that makes water activities possible without taxi stress.
