The Arlequín Cocktail Bar is a circus-inspired cocktail bar in the heart of Palma's old town, at Carrer de Santa Eulàlia 7, a few steps from the cathedral. Behind the façade waits a theatrical stage across two levels: curtains, warm Bordeaux and gold tones, a trapeze artist above the dining area and the playful motto "we're all mad here".

What makes the Arlequín Cocktail Bar special
What began as founders Fran Marcos and Javier Pont's mobile "Cocktail & Road" truck — the pair run a seasoned events outfit, Arlequín Group — became a permanent address in spring 2023. The historic building is staged down to the smallest detail: quirky lighting, wallpaper, artwork on the walls, even the toilet doors. A motif of the seven deadly sins runs through the menu as a red thread, posing the tongue-in-cheek question of how many you can resist once you cross the threshold.

Drinks & menu
The focus is on modern, highly visual cocktails made with premium spirits and mixed by a team of experienced bartenders, including a mixologist from London. They arrive in unusual vessels — from Mad Hatter jugs to fish-shaped glasses. The "Masquerade", citrus-sweet with Malfy Gin Arancia, Aluna Coconut rum, lemon and passion fruit, hides inside a sculpted masked head that recalls the masked balls of Venice. Each drink carries its own quote on the menu. Signature cocktails start at around 11 euros and alcohol-free mocktails from about 8.50 euros; the basement also holds an exclusive whiskey cabinet with bottles from around the world.
Alongside come easy-going bites in snack and tapas format: the mini smash burger duo with bourbon sauce, truffle mayo and raclette, a chicken satay wrap, nachos and tacos, and the popular cauliflower popcorn for the vegetarian table.

Atmosphere & location
The lively ground floor holds the bar with high tables, ideal for drinks with friends, while the basement is more intimate and houses the restaurant and a private dining room. Board and card games sit on the tables, and now and then live acts, magic or tarot add that extra spark of madness. Despite the circus theme, it all feels stylish rather than kitschy — a place where creative drinks, good snacks and a warm, playful mood come together, whether as a prelude to dinner or an evening in itself.
