The Atomic Garden is a small, characterful cervecería in the west of Palma – the address in the Santa Catalina (Ponent) district if you take beer seriously and still want to stay relaxed. The surroundings give the place its character: the walls are covered all over with old movie posters and antiques, rock plays in the background, and on some evenings there's live music. The room is small and can fill up on a good night – which is exactly what creates the warm, slightly nostalgic mood. Come early if you want to be sure of a seat.
The spot on the edge of Santa Catalina is ideal for a long evening: about a quarter of an hour on foot from the centre and the Paseo Marítimo. A place for good conversations, serious beer and the feeling of having found a real favourite.
