Alongside a much-praised pistachio gelato and fruity sorbets, there are unusual creations: Persian bastani with saffron and rose, rosemary, pumpkin, or the guest-favourite combination of banana, ginger and turmeric, unsweetened and surprising. Kefir with blueberry, hazelnut, chocolate and classics such as acai with mixed berries also appear in the case depending on the day.

Which flavours are available depends on the season and fresh ingredients, so the selection deliberately rotates. If you are after a particular favourite, it is best to ask on the spot.

Origin & quality

A large part of the range is naturally gluten-free, joined by vegan, lactose-free and reduced-sugar varieties, some sweetened with stevia, some only through fruit content. The owner works with a vegan awareness, and even the cones are stated to be vegan. That makes Claudio one of the few addresses in Palma where a plant-based or allergy-friendly choice does not taste like a compromise.
