Mallorca has a new Sea Club. In Costa d'en Blanes in the southwest of the island, the noble Mar Sea Club has opened. On chic terrain. It belongs to the five-star hotel St. Regis Mardavall. Whether for a cool drink in a light sea breeze or a deliciously light summer meal, everyone is welcome there - including non-hotel guests, of course.

From ceviche to blue lobster

The menu offers tempting items from the sea and the fields. Fancy a seafood ceviche, tuna tataki, perlita caviar with blinis, crème fraîche, egg and chives, or blue lobster with garlic and white wine? Then the Mar Sea Club is the right address. High-quality, finely marbled meat, such as Wagyu beef, and grilled fish round out the menu.

And those who want to share a rice dish for an open-air feast will also find what they are looking for. Pasta, burgers or tacos for the small appetite are also available. A chocolate cake with raspberries and crème fraîche would be an option for the sweet end to a meal - or even a refreshing fruit salad with melon, dragon fruit and lychee, to which apricot ice cream adds extra zing.

Refreshing cocktails, wine and champagne

If you want to get comfortable with a sophisticated drink in the cozy lounge chairs overlooking the sea, you can choose between Latin American-inspired cocktails. For example, with a Grapefruit Pisco Collins with lemon juice, sugar and pink grapefruit juice or a Romero Teqroni with tequila, Campari, red vermouth, rosemary syrup, orange bitters and lemon juice. Meanwhile, friends of a good drop will find a wide selection of regional, national and international references on the wine list. And of course, in a luxury resort like the Mardavall, guests can have a well-chilled champagne dancing in their glass.

Summer location near the marina

The Mar Sea Club looks as if it has always been there. So harmoniously it fits into the large garden of the noble resort near the marina Puerto Portals. This is also due to the skilful choice of colors. The range of shades chosen includes different shades of blue - a tribute to the sea, which is only a few meters away. Plus plenty of white, beige and gray. Generous sun protection provides for many a shady spot even at the height of summer.
