Holiday Rentals on the northwest coast of Mallorca
A natural stone finca with sea views in Banyalbufar or a villa with pool in Palmanyola - the wild rugged west coast of Mallorca gives you numerous charming holiday homes to choose from in a very exclusive location.
The foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana extend down to the sea on the west coast of the island. The mountain range was added to the list of UNESCO World Natural Heritage in 2011 and is a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. Comfortably furnished holiday chalets are available in scenic coastal towns such as Banyalbufar and Port de Sóller, as well as in more remote mountain villages.
Valldemossa is a village with a monastery where time seems to have stood still for centuries. Cobblestone alleys run through the town's centre and the wooded hillsides are dotted with pretty holiday homes with pool and garden for a carefree holiday surrounded by nature.
Seaside bliss is what you should expect in Port de Sóller. The resort has the only protected natural harbour on the west coast of the island and a 600 m long sandy beach. Nestled in a charming mountain landscape in the interior, the town of Sóller is linked to the coastal town by a tram line that the locals affectionately refer to as "Red Lightning". Orange-tree and olive groves and pine forests stretch along the flanks of the mountains. The idyllic mountain villages Bunyola and Esporla can be reached from Sóller as part of a hike.
