Mallorca traffic: current road closures and roadworks
The longest closure is on the Ma-15: the full carriageway is closed in both directions between km 56.5 and 57.1 until 22 February 2027.
Closed stretches
On the Ma-1 between Calvià and Andratx, the full carriageway is closed northwestbound between km 23.3 and 24.8 from 24 March 2026 until 30 August 2026. On the Ma-15 near Sant Llorenç des Cardassar, the full carriageway is closed in both directions between km 56.5 and 57.1 from 10 June 2026 until 22 February 2027, according to the DGT. You should allow extra time if you’re driving there.
Roadworks on the main roads
In Palma, the DGT says the right-hand lane on the Ma-1 is closed southeastbound between km 4.5 and 4.7 from 13 July 2026 until 13 August 2026. On the Ma-19 between Palma and Llucmajor, the road is closed in both directions between km 0 and 26.4 from 5 August 2026 until 6 August 2026. Also in Palma, the right-hand lane on the Ma-20 is closed northeastbound between km 7.5 and 7.7 from 5 August 2026 until 6 August 2026; allow a bit more time for that trip.
Other restrictions
At Puigpunyent, the right-hand lane on the Ma-1032 is closed southwestbound at km 7.5 from 19 May 2026. That means extra time for the stretch.
