Southeast Coast Mallorca

Southeast Coast Mallorca

Rent a holiday house on the southeast coast of Mallorca

Mallorca's southeastern coast is deservedly well known for its fantastic sandy beaches and hidden bays. One of the highlights of this coastal region is the undeveloped sandy beach of Es Trenc, which stretches along the turquoise-blue sea over a length of seven kilometres.

On the south-east coast of the island you can choose from a range of types of accommodation: exclusive villas, modern holiday chalets in a secluded location, spacious family apartments and country-style villas. There are a lot of chalets for rent just a few hundred metres from the beach. The tourist hub of this coastal region is the resort of Cala d'Or. Several bays with golden sandy beaches are to be found on this stretch of coast. The kilometre-long sandy beach of Es Trenc tails off into unspoilt dunes. Sa Rapit is something of a bathing paradise.

The holiday resort of Cala d'Or is not far from the Mondrago Natural Park, which is criss-crossed by a network of hiking trails. Cala d'Or is vibrant in the peak season but the nearby small town of Campos has retained its original character and charm and is the perfect place for self catering accommodation in rural surroundings about 10 kilometres inland. During your holidays on the southeast coast of the island you should definitely plan in a trip to the city of Manacor with its castle, Torre del Enagistes dating back over 600 years and the 5th century church of Son Pereto.
