Mallorca ports

In addition to Port de Palma, which is also a cargo handling centre and ferry port, Mallorca has a number of yachting and fishing ports in its many coastal towns.

Port de Palma Ferry and cruise port
Port de Palma is the port in Palma de Mallorca. It is located on the southwest coast of the island and is protected from the waves of the Mediterranean by a system of dikes and jetties. In addition to its function as a cargo handling point, the capital’s port is the point of departure and arrival for ferries and cruise ships. The ferry terminal is to be found at Moll de Paraires. There are several car ferries departing daily and heading for the neighbouring islands of Ibiza, Menorca and Formentera or the Spanish ports of València, Barcelona and Dénia. The West Sea Wall is just beyond Moll de Paraires is and this serves as a docking station for cruise ships. Mallorca is served by almost all the cruise lines in the western Mediterranean. Up to five ships with a length of over than 300 m can simultaneously anchor at the West Sea Wall.

Port Palma de Mallorca

Marinas in Port de Palma
Mallorca's largest port is home to several yacht clubs, which together offer berths for more than 2,000 yachts. The Real Club Náutico de Palma offers moorings for boats with a total length of up to 40 m. Within the gated marina there are fresh and wastewater connections, electrical connections, several slipways and a fuelling station. Many services are offered at the marina include a cleaning service for the boats and a repair service. Minor damage to the hull can be repaired here quickly and easily. In the clubhouses you will find showers and sanitary facilities and as you stroll along Paseo Maritimo you will be spoiled for choice by a collection of exclusive shops and restaurants at your disposal. In the summer months, you have a reasonable chance of bumping into a member of the Spanish Royal Family in the restaurant at Real Club Náutico de Palma whose yacht may well be moored there.

Port d'Pollenҫa – harbour for yachts and speed boats on the north coast
In addition to the marina at Alcúdia, Port d'Pollenҫa is the most important yachting marina on the north coast of Mallorca. Due to its geographical location, the marina is the first point of contact for part-time skippers bringing their yachts from the French or Spanish mainland coasts. The Reial Club Nàutic Port de Pollenҫa and Puerto de Pollenҫa offer nearly 1,000 berths. In addition to sanitary facilities, water connections, electrical connections and a fuelling station, there is a shipyard where damage to vessels can be repaired. Yachtsmen and women are especially fond of the unique location of the harbour in the bay of Pollenҫa.
