The Aparcament de l'Embassament de Cúber is the main car park at the Cúber Reservoir, set high in the Serra de Tramuntana within the municipality of Escorca.
Starting Point for Walks & Hikes
The car park serves as the trailhead for a range of walking and trekking routes around the Cúber Reservoir and into the surrounding mountains. The circular route around the lake in particular is widely regarded as scenic and easy to follow. Official waymarked trails with wooden signposts are in place, so you can navigate with confidence without having to hunt for stone cairns.
Scenery & Wildlife
The views across the reservoir and the surrounding Tramuntana peaks are the real highlight of the area. Along the paths you'll regularly come across sheep, donkeys and goats roaming freely. Outside of the peak season, the area is peaceful and pleasantly uncrowded.
Location & Surroundings
The car park sits alongside the Ma-10 road within the municipality of Escorca (07315). The entrance to the lakeside is roughly two hundred metres down the road from the car park. The location is genuinely remote, so it's worth bearing that in mind when planning your visit. Arriving early gives you a much better chance of finding a space, as the car park can fill up around midday.
