Description
Bodega Son Campaner is a winery in Sencelles, in the heart of Mallorca, offering wine tastings and guided tours of its vineyards and cellar.
Grape Varieties & Wines
Across five hectares, the estate grows the red varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and the native Mallorcan grape Manto Negro — all planted between 2000 and 2004. A further three-quarter-hectare plot, acquired separately, is home to the white varieties Chardonnay and Macabeu. Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc are also being newly planted.
Tours & Tastings
Wine tours offer a genuine insight into viticulture and winemaking, followed by a tasting of all the estate's wines. Tours are conducted in German, which is a real bonus for German-speaking visitors who want to explore the world of wine without a language barrier.
Buildings & Estate
The winery's striking modern building stands out among the vine rows and can be spotted from a distance — inside, it has been decorated with great care and warmth. The estate carries a distinct Palatinate character, reflecting the background of its German owner, Julia Lorenzen.
Location & Getting There
The winery sits along the Camí de Son Campaner in Sencelles, roughly 30 minutes by car from Palma de Mallorca, in the countryside between Binissalem and Inca. Arriving by your own vehicle is the most practical option. Walk-in visits are possible, though getting in touch beforehand is advisable.
