Description

Cala Moltó is a small, rocky natural cove near Cala Ratjada in the north-east of Mallorca.

Water & Nature

The water at Cala Moltó is remarkably clear and transparent. The cove sits nestled among rocky surroundings and offers calm conditions that are well suited to snorkelling — small fish are easy to spot in the crystal-clear shallows. The shoreline is predominantly rocky, with sand only appearing in small patches between the stones. Water shoes are strongly recommended, as the rocks can have sharp edges.

Character & Atmosphere

Cala Moltó is considerably quieter than the nearby and much-visited Cala Agulla. Its secluded position, lack of facilities, and a slightly demanding approach all help to keep visitor numbers low. There are no toilets or any other amenities on site. The cove is also used as a nudist spot.

Location & Getting There

The cove lies at Diseminado Cala Agulla, 557T, within the municipality of Capdepera. It can be reached on foot from Cala Agulla along a stony path — flip-flops are not suitable for the walk. The cove is also easily accessible from the sea. There is no signposted road access directly to the cove by car.
