Château – Vino de la Isla is a winery and wine shop in Algaida, in the heart of Mallorca, bringing together wines from numerous small producers and fincas across the island for tasting and purchase.

The Concept: Local Wines, One Roof

What makes Château – Vino de la Isla special is its approach: the house brings together wines from small producers and fincas, some of whose vineyards it cultivates itself. Under one roof you'll find wines that rarely make it into conventional retail — including cuvées made from the island's indigenous grape varieties. If you'd like to explore before you buy, you can sample the wines independently at self-service dispensing machines using a card system: everything you try is logged and settled at the end. Over a hundred wines are available to taste.

Tours & Tastings

Château offers guided wine tours with tastings, where each wine is introduced and explained before pouring — covering everything from viticulture and typical grape varieties to the history of winemaking on Mallorca. The Premium Wine Tour includes several wines accompanied by snacks such as tapas, cheese, olives and nuts. Impromptu tours of the winery's production areas are also possible. This makes the venue a great choice for small groups looking to enjoy a structured tasting experience together.

Atmosphere & Outdoor Space

The building is lovingly decorated and feels polished and stylish. An outdoor courtyard and terrace invite you to enjoy your tasting in the fresh air. The house also hosts events, with live music and DJ evenings regularly on the programme.

Location & Getting There

The winery is located at junction 20 of the Ma-15 road in Algaida — a village in the island's interior, around 25 kilometres from Palma. Its position on the main road makes it easy to reach, and wines can also be ordered for delivery to your home or accommodation.
