The story of Helados Garrido goes all the way back to 1965. It was founded by Francisco Garrido Soler, a native of Jijona and a master nougat maker, who devoted himself entirely to the craft of ice cream here. Around 1970, the business passed to his two sons, Francisco and José María Garrido Sánchez.
