Les Talaies de Can Jordi is an archaeological site from the Talayotic period, located in Santanyí in the south-east of Mallorca.

The sprawling site encompasses a circular talayot, a substantial stone wall, and the remains of several further structures. Information boards on site explain the findings in context. Les Talaies de Can Jordi is currently undergoing an active process of excavation and restoration — so there is still plenty left to discover.

Getting There

The site lies within the municipal area of Santanyí (07650). One thing worth knowing: there are no signposts pointing the way to the complex, so it is genuinely difficult to locate without reliable navigation. The drive itself requires a bit of care — the road is narrow, and parking on site is extremely limited, with space for no more than one small vehicle. What might look like a car park is in fact little more than a passing place.
