You cross the road with a cocktail in hand — that is how Limit Beach works. The restaurant and bar sit on the inland side of Av. Miramar, the terrace on the other side, right on the sand of Playa de Palma. Sit down there with a Sangría de cava in hand, the sea breeze on your face, the horizon ahead — and you instantly understand why this brand calls itself their favourite place by the sea. Concept This is not a beach club in the sense of day tickets and reserved sun loungers. Limit Beach is an accessible beachfront restaurant at the eastern end of Playa de Palma, running from breakfast through to late evening — breakfast, tapas, burgers, paella, pizza, cocktails. The idea: no barriers, no dress code, just a good spot by the sea. The same brand runs a sister venue in Magaluf; the Arenal location is the original on the promenade, in the middle of a dense cluster of beach bars. Atmosphere Relaxed and lively at the same time — that is the best description of the mood here. The venue itself is casual and welcoming, with good English-speaking staff and step-free access. But the centrepiece is the small terrace on the beach side: tables right on the sand, fresh air from the horizon, evening light running orange across the open sea. At sundowner time the place fills up — if you want one of the coveted sea-view spots, arrive early. Food & Drinks The menu is broader than it looks at first glance. Breakfast options include the Limit Healthy (toast with avocado, poached eggs, tomato, olive oil and sesame) alongside a full English Breakfast with fried eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans and mushrooms. Lunch and dinner bring tapas, baguettes, salads, paellas, pizza, smash burgers and poke bowls. Fideuà and a beefsteak dish are also on the menu. The venue's best-known dish is the Limit Nachos: crispy, with melted cheese, meat and guacamole — also available as takeaway, which is a solid option for the beach right next door. On the drinks side, the Sangría de cava is the house signature: sparkling, with fresh fruit, actively pushed by the venue. The Caipirinha comes close behind as a summer staple; Mojito, Blue Lagoon and Piña Colada round out the menu — competently made and repeatedly praised by guests for this promenade setting. A glass of Prosecco is also available. Shisha is also available. Who It's For & Occasions Groups looking for a relaxed shared evening, couples at sunset dinner, families after a long beach day, solo travellers starting the night with a drink: Limit Beach works for all these occasions. Reservations are possible and recommended for the beach terrace during peak evening hours. Takeaway also works — Limit Nachos to go for the beach right next door is not a bad idea. Free parking is available nearby for those arriving by car. Insider Tip The terrace is across the road on the sea side — that is exactly where you want to sit for the full view and the breeze. Occasionally someone outside makes generous promises; no cause for concern, but best to judge for yourself.
