The Eaktai Ahn Monument is a sculpture in the city centre of Palma, dedicated to the Korean composer and conductor Eak Tai Ahn (1906–1965).

The Work & Its Dedication

The sculpture is the work of Mallorcan sculptor Joan Costa (b. 1961) and takes its form from the sea, waves, and the Posidonia seagrass that carpets the island's seabed. It was erected by the City of Palma in 2006 at its current location. The piece is entitled "Las Sombras del Sonido" (The Shadows of Sound).
