The Plataforma de s'Amarador is a viewing platform set within the nature reserve near Muro in the north of Mallorca.
Watch Wildlife, Soak Up the Silence
Sitting at the heart of a protected nature reserve, the platform looks out over fields, streams and the lush wetland vegetation typical of this corner of the island. Wooden watchtowers bring you right up close to the local wildlife — including cranes, red kites, marsh harriers, great crested grebes, coots and kestrels, as well as sweeping flocks of starlings. Horses also roam the area. The terrain is largely flat, making it easy to explore on foot, by bike or even on a morning run.
Trails & Activities
Several paths wind through the reserve, well suited to walking, trekking and cycling. The whole area has a wonderfully unhurried feel, inviting you to slow down and simply take in your surroundings. Birds, insects, aquatic plants and the occasional leaping fish make this a rewarding spot for nature watching at any time of year.

The platform is located near Muro (07458) in northern Mallorca and is easily reached from Alcúdia. If you're arriving by car, it's best to park around 200 metres before the site — rangers actively monitor parking rules within the protected area.
