Playa de Cala Domingos
Description
Playa de Cala Domingos is a sandy cove in the municipality of Manacor on the south-east coast of Mallorca — renowned for its crystal-clear turquoise water and an unspoilt backdrop of rocks, cliffs and small sea caves.
Beach & Water
Fine white sand, a gently shelving shoreline and crystal-clear turquoise water define the cove. A natural rocky setting complete with small grottos and cliffs frames the scene beautifully. The calm, shallow entry into the sea makes Cala Domingos a popular snorkelling spot — small shoals of fish are easy to observe in the shallows. Occasional stronger waves add a bit of variety to a swim.
Two Coves, One Destination
Cala Domingos is made up of two connected coves — Cala Domingos Gran and Cala Domingos Petit. The neighbouring cove is reached via a short path along the rocks. Cala Domingos tends to be a little quieter than the cove right next door.
Facilities on the Beach
Sun loungers and parasols are available to hire on the beach, though numbers are limited. There is a beach bar on site, and toilet facilities are accessible nearby. A lifeguard service is stationed at the beach.
Location & Getting There
The cove sits within the municipality of Manacor (Carrer Aragó 32, 07688 Manacor). A short flight of steps from the roadside leads straight down to the beach. On-street parking is available close by.
