Puig de Santueri is a mountain summit in the municipality of Felanitx, Mallorca, crowned by the ruins of the Castell de Santueri.

A Summit Steeped in History

Puig de Santueri belongs to the eastern hill range known as the Serres de Llevant and rises to 408 metres. Atop its flat-topped peak stands the Castell de Santueri, a dramatic cliff-castle ruin within the municipality of Felanitx, roughly seven kilometres to the south-east of the town centre. The rocky hillsides surrounding the summit are dotted with caves that are well worth exploring on a walk.

From the top, the views stretch far across the south-eastern coastal plain — on a clear day you can make out Portocolom, whilst overcast conditions lend the whole scene a wonderfully atmospheric quality all of its own. The castle itself can be admired from the outside, and the ascent is thoroughly rewarding for the panorama alone.
