Reserva Park
Description
Reserva Park is a nature reserve in Puigpunyent that combines walking trails through mountain woodland, free-roaming animals, and natural swimming pools.
Walking through mountain woodland and highland scenery
The park takes you along well-marked trails through wooded terrain dotted with rocks, caves, and sweeping views across the valley. The ground is steep and uneven in places — sturdy footwear is strongly recommended. Much of the route runs in shade, which makes the walk comfortable even on hot days. Despite the occasionally demanding terrain, the paths are perfectly manageable for children.
Animals and natural pools
Along the route you'll come across free-roaming animals including goats, peacocks, donkeys, ducks, geese, sheep, and ponies — all easy to observe and feed up close. There's also a birds of prey display to enjoy. At the end of the trail, natural pools invite you to cool off. The park also has a playground and a bar-restaurant.
Location and getting here
Reserva Park is located at Predio Son Net s/n in Puigpunyent (07194). The access road is rough and in poor condition — carpooling or a vehicle with decent ground clearance is advisable. Arriving without your own transport requires some planning, as the park sits away from the main roads.
Who it's for
The park is ideal for families with children and nature lovers looking to hike away from the crowds. Those with limited mobility should bear in mind that parts of the terrain are quite demanding. Tickets can be purchased online or on the door; discounts are occasionally available when booking online.
