Description
Sa Cova is a small tapas and Mediterranean restaurant tucked into the village centre of Banyalbufar on Mallorca's west coast.
Food & Drink
The menu is deliberately concise, with the focus firmly on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Tapas and sharing platters take centre stage — Empanadas and Patatas Bravas are firm favourites that keep guests coming back. If you fancy something more hearty, the Estofado de Lentejas is a warming lentil stew with vegetables, potatoes, tender lamb and slices of Mallorcan salami. Sobrassada with honey is another classic island offering. Vegetarian options are very much part of the menu, and a house-made lemonade rounds off the drinks selection beautifully.
Atmosphere
Sa Cova is a wonderfully intimate little spot with just a handful of tables — some of them spilling out into a narrow alleyway. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed. The restaurant was previously based in Valldemossa before relocating to Banyalbufar.
Location & Getting There
Sa Cova is found at Carrer del Pont 2 in Banyalbufar, tucked slightly off the main road in a quiet side lane — keep your eyes open as you wander through the village and you'll find it. Takeaway is also available if you'd prefer to eat on the go.
