S'Amarador
Description
S'Amarador is a sandy beach in the Mondragó Natural Park near Santanyí in the south-east of Mallorca.
Fine Sand, Turquoise Water, Natural Setting
What sets S'Amarador apart is the combination of fine, soft sand, crystal-clear turquoise water and a wooded natural backdrop. The water is shallow enough to stand in for a good stretch — a real bonus when you're with children. The bay is also well suited to snorkelling.
On the Beach
There is a snack stand and beach bar serving drinks and fresh fruit. Sun loungers and parasols are available to hire on site.
Coastal Paths & Natural Park
Mondragó Natural Park surrounds S'Amarador, and coastal footpaths wind along the shoreline — including a trail towards Mondragó. If you set aside a full day, the area is very rewarding to explore on foot.
Getting There & Parking
The car park is a short walk from the beach — roughly five to ten minutes on foot. Parking is chargeable. At weekends and during peak season the bay gets busy, so arriving early is advisable.
