Anna Crexells

With Anna Crexells, you encounter one of the most sought-after collaborative pianists of her generation. Born in Barcelona, she graduated with top honours in Piano and Chamber Music from the Conservatori Superior del Liceu under Cecilio Tieles and Àngel Soler, later deepening her specialisation in vocal accompaniment with Maciej Pikulski, Wolfram Rieger and Enza Ferrari. Since then, she has devoted herself to working closely with singers. She serves as official pianist for the Francesc Viñas International Singing Competition, the Amics de l'Òpera de Sabadell, and the Master's Programme in Opera Performance at the Liceu Conservatory. Spain's leading opera houses — Teatro Real, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Ópera de Oviedo, and Teatro de la Maestranza — have invited her as pianist and musical assistant. She accompanies masterclasses led by Josep Carreras, Teresa Berganza, Mariella Devia and Juan Pons, and has worked with orchestras such as the Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya and conductors including Gustavo Dudamel. Her discography includes works by Cristòfor Taltabull and Robert Gerhard. On stages such as the Palau de la Música Catalana, the Schubertíada de Vilabertrán, and the Festival de Porta Ferrada, she brings her sensitive, precise artistry to the service of the voice.
