Fitz
Leicester, United Kingdomhouse · electronic · disco
Fitz – real name Fitz Samuel – is a cornerstone of Leicester's music scene. His passion for vinyl dates back to 1981, when he sold records at the legendary Chaos Records and was involved with Postline Mail Order Records. Over the following decades he played at some of the city's most memorable venues, including The Fan Club, Luxor, Miss Moneypenny's, Lizard Lounge and Flaming Colossus. With his eclectic taste and genuine feel for the dancefloor, he established himself as one of Leicester's most in-demand DJs. Beyond the decks, Fitz has shown a strong community spirit: a 24-hour DJ marathon at The Exchange raised an impressive £6,010 for Soft Touch Arts and The Big Difference Co. His philosophy is as simple as it is timeless – really listening to the music, feeling it, and playing for the people in the room who truly love it.
