Dance of the Cotton Hobby Horses
On 29 September, Llucmajor hosts the “Dance of the Cotton Little Horses”, known locally as the Ball dels Cavallets Cotoners. This fiesta centres on a traditional dance form whose characters and names are part of the town’s cultural expression. The announced pieces are “Sa nina”, “Cavallet i dama” and “Dansa núm. 1”. It is a focused opportunity to experience Mallorcan festive culture through a local performance tradition and its distinctive rhythm.
