Rels i Records is a project for voice and piano that creates a journey between memory, tradition and contemporary creation. Through repertoires in Catalan, Italian and Spanish, the programme brings together Mediterranean art song, 20th-century music and new works. The project’s guiding thread is Camí Florit, an original work by Llorenç Prats on texts by Josep Maria Llompart, written במיוחד for the project. Performed by soprano Laura de la Fuente and pianist-composer Llorenç Prats, Rels i Records offers an intimate listening experience built on the relationship between voice and piano. Programme notes: The repertoire combines Mediterranean art song, contemporary creation and memory. Flors d’Escardot by Carme Karr is a cycle that is practically absent from today’s stages and, as far as we know, has not yet been commercially recorded. The Rels i Records album will be available after the concert.
