The exhibition «Monaco and Spain: Five Centuries of Shared History» arrives at Club de Mar Mallorca as a unique opportunity to discover the close historical, cultural and diplomatic ties that have united both countries for more than five hundred years. Organized to mark the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Spain and the Principality of Monaco, the exhibition invites visitors to take a journey through some of the most important events and figures that have shaped this relationship from the 16th century to the present day. Through a carefully curated selection of historical documents, photographs, reproductions and informational materials, visitors will be able to learn how the shared history between both nations has evolved over the centuries, highlighting the institutional, cultural and family ties that have helped strengthen this connection. The exhibition offers an accessible and engaging overview that makes it possible to understand the role of both territories at different historical moments and their international reach. The exhibition will remain open to the public at Club de Mar Mallorca until 6 August 2026, offering residents and visitors an excellent opportunity to get closer to this interesting chapter of European history in the privileged setting of Palma's port.
