FestMusic Mallorca presents DaBraccio Quartet: FOLK! Pati del Palau Can Vivot, Palma Come and discover DaBraccio Quartet, one of the most promising string ensembles of the new generation of Mallorcan musicians. Founded in 2020, the quartet has built an outstanding artistic career in Spain and Europe, combining interpretive excellence with an innovative approach to both classical and contemporary repertoire. Their concerts stand out for their intimacy, creativity, and ability to connect with audiences through carefully conceived programs. FOLK! is a vibrant program that explores the musical roots of different cultures around the world through works by Hawa Diabaté, Ken Benshoof, Eduard Toldrà, Wu Man, and Aldemaro Romero. The journey brings together tradition and modernity, taking the listener from soundscapes inspired by Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas to new creations born from the dialogue between folk music and contemporary language. Several of the works are part of Kronos Fifty for the Future, the prestigious international project led by the Kronos Quartet to expand the string quartet repertoire in the 21st century. A musical experience full of rhythm, sensitivity, and color that invites you to discover how popular traditions continue to inspire the artistic creation of our time.
